You were told you were free, but you aren't.  You are a slave to your own attitude.  It will ensure your continued misery.  Which is a good thing, because you have so much invested in it.

Why let others marginalize you when you can do it yourself.  You fools should have listened to me.  If you criticize me, I can handle it, but it's unfair.  Either that, or your mother didn't teach you any manners.

Democrats can't save us, but at least I can be popular for saying it.  The rest of you cowards are afraid to.

When the new ratings system came, I loved it, because it reduced ratings wars.  People weren't downrating each other so much, and people were discussing things more, so I thought.

Also, with the new ratings system, only TU's can downrate, at all.  I thought this was an improvement.  In the past, any user could give your comment a 1 and start a rating war.

But apparently, it is not difficult for a troll to get TU and stir up ratings wars.

This diary is about ratings abuse. Not the usual ratings abuse diary asking trolls to behave themselves, but rather, a proposal for a possible technical solution.
